The Darke Soil and Water Conservation District (SWCD) is accepting applications for a District Technician until June 24, 2022. This District Technician is a full-time, permanent position and is located in Greenville, Ohio.
The District Technician assists landowners with the implementation of federal farm bill programs. The successful candidate will provide technical assistance to landowners and other Darke County residents on natural resource issues, as well as, be able to utilize survey equipment, AutoCAD and ArcGIS. Necessary training will be provided to the successful candidate.
Desired applicant will possess at least a 2-year degree in natural resources, environmental, agriculture or related field; or relevant work experience in a conservation related field. Please review the online job description before applying. Salary is commensurate with education and experience.
