Supervisor Election - Begins November 4, 2021 and ends December 3, 2021 @ 4:00 pm

Meet the Candidates

The 2021 election features three candidates vying for two seats on the Darke SWCD Board of Supervisors.  

The Ohio Soil and Water Conservation Commission will cause an election of supervisors of the Darke Soil and Water Conservation District (SWCD) to be held in accordance with Chapter 940 of the Ohio Revised Code.  Individuals who own or occupy land within the Darke Soil and Water Conservation District and are 18 years of age or older may vote for supervisor.

There are three (3) ways an eligible voter can cast a ballot:

1. At the Darke SWCD office located at 1117 Southtowne Court, Greenville, Ohio 45331 from November 4, 2021 until December 3, 2021 during normal business hours; or
2. At the Darke SWCD Annual Meeting, which will take place on November 22, 2021 at the Sure Shot Tap House located at 117 East 5th Street, Greenville, Ohio 45331 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm; or
3. Voting absentee from November 4, 2021 until December 3, 2021, by requesting the ballot application and election ballot from the Darke SWCD office at 1117 Southtowne Court, Greenville, Ohio 45331, by calling 937-548-1715, extension 3, or email [email protected].  Absentee ballots must be received by the Darke SWCD office by 4:00 pm on December 3, 2021.

Two (2) supervisors will be elected to a three-year term commencing on January 1, 2022 and ending on December 31, 2024.
